Photography

Photography students build a foundation of elements and principles of design in photography, composition, lighting, smartphone cameras, dslr cameras, photographic techniques and the basics of digital editing in the grade 10 course. In grade 11 and 12 students expand their photographic skills through project based assignments that are varied and explore a variety of photographic influences and techniques with an emphasis on portfolio development and career exploration.

Photography courses are complementary to both Media and Visual Arts Majors.
