ASD Programming

The ASD (Autisim Spectrum Disorder) class is very busy venturing out into the community and working on their social, communication and academic skills.  Each week the class walks to the community YMCA for recreational swimming.  The class also works to improve their cooking and independent living skills.  The students are always out in the community and volunteering around the school.  They assist with the school recycling program and in the school cafeteria.  Each student in the ASD classroom has an individualized program that works for them.  This classroom is an interactive and fun place to be with an emphasis on learning independent living skills.
