Sudbury Secondary School Brings Legally Blonde: The Musical to the stage this spring

Bring on the bling! Sudbury Secondary School is gearing up to take the stage by pink storm in their upcoming production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.  The popular film starring Reese Witherspoon made the over-the-top but endearing character of Elle Woods a role model for young people determined to chase their goals with passion and charm...and a fabulous sense of style!  What begins as the pursuit of a former boyfriend leads Elle to Harvard Law School where she struggles with college life while blazing her own unique fuchsia trail to happiness and success.

A cast of more than 20 Arts Education students majoring in theatre arts, music and dance will bring this ridiculously enjoyable story to life with uplifting song and dance numbers, along with a live band of SSS musicians.  Students and staff in the visual and media arts programs as well as a skilled technical crew bring their creative talents to the production, uniting all aspects of Sudbury Secondary’s Arts Education Program.  Student matinee and public performances are scheduled April 25 – May 3, in the beautifully refurbished Sheridan Auditorium at SSS.  For more information call 705-674-7551.
