We recognize that the choice of a secondary school is one of the most taxing educational decisions that parents and students face.  When a student is particularly talented in a specific art form it becomes even more difficult.  How can ability in an arts discipline be balanced with the necessity of maximizing academic potential?

At SUDBURY SECONDARY SCHOOL we believe we have the ideal solution.

We are a vibrant school, which provides a full range of academic programs including a French Immersion program; Science; Math; English; Social Science; Technology; Computers; Special Education programming,  a SHSM Arts and Culture program, a Cooperative Education program, and Student Success programming.  We also have a competitive athletics program, and several specific interest clubs available to all students.

At SUDBURY SECONDARY SCHOOL—Arts Education AND Academic subjects are equally valued.

Our facilities include: 8 computer labs, 10 SMART Board equipped classrooms, a library with networked computers, full-school wireless access, a full size gymnasium and a fitness and weight room, an auto shop, a carpentry shop, a sewing classroom, a kitchen classroom, new dance studios, black box studio theatre, 2 new visual art studios, a state of the art drama performance space, vocal music studio and practice rooms, an instrumental music studio, an Apple Mac media lab and photography studio and darkroom, plus all newly renovated classrooms. We are accessible to the physically challenged and our Auditorium is currently undergoing  massive upgrades and renovations.
